When should I book my session?

The sooner, the better! The best time to book is during your Second Trimester after your 20-week scan. Maternity Portrait Session bookings are extremely limited each month in order to provide every mama with a custom, full-service experience. These limited spots fill up fast, so it's best to reserve your session date at least 2 to 3 months in advance.

How far along should I be for my session?

Maternity portrait sessions should be scheduled to take place around the 28 to 32 week mark of your pregnancy. If you’re expecting multiples, we will want to plan a little sooner, around the 24 to 28 week mark.

Where do maternity portrait sessions take place?

Maternity sessions take place at my portrait studio in East Austin, where I have all my professional lighting and equipment. If you’d prefer an outdoor session instead, outdoor sessions may be available upon request depending on the time of year and current availability.

What is included in the maternity portrait session?

With your maternity session fee, you will receive a one-on-one consultation to personalize and plan your session, professional hair and makeup, access to a curated client closet with gowns, dresses, bodysuits, and draping fabrics, up to five unique looks, a two+ hour session, your reveal and ordering appointment two weeks after your session, and the custom designing and ordering of your favorite custom products.

How much is a maternity portrait session?

The maternity session fee is $350 and it includes everything listed above, as well as your Reveal & Ordering Appointment two weeks after your session where you will view your portraits and order your favorite products. As a full-service portrait studio specializing in finished artwork, your total investment will vary depending on your selections. Create-Your-Own-Collection packages which allow you to mix and match luxury print boxes, heirloom albums, wall art, and digitals begin at $1100. Or digital-only packages begin at $800.
